Food Pantry
The Elizabeth “Betty” Schneider Food Pantry
The Food Pantry was founded in 1993 to help achieve food security for families who faced economic hardships. We strive to help meet the needs of the hungry and to organize within our community to prevent hunger in the future.
The food pantry relies heavily on private food donations and monetary contributions to help replenish the supply of food at the pantry to ensure that all Monroe residents in need have access to nutritious foods.
Our food pantry holds monthly distributions for residents who have applied and are deemed eligible. If you need food, we also have emergency bags available Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. when the Senior Center is open.
